Who should attend this interactive workshop?
About the workshop
If you read any book on Leadership or Management being an effective listener is often one of the top 10 essential skills. While we know what to do in theory, heavy workloads, pressure to meet client deadlines, billable hours and a plethora of distractions are some of the common barriers to effective listening.
We have all heard the saying that " people leave Managers not companies. " When we feel like we are really listened to we feel respected and a much stronger sense of connection and engagement to our Manager and to the organisation we work for. If all people managers in your organisation improved their ability to listen, coach and give feedback the chances are your employee retention rates would improve. People attending this workshop often say that it's useful not only for their professional lives, but also for their personal lives.
When speaking to clients our ability to listen even more effectively can have a massive impact on the quality of the relationship and the opportunity to better understand their wants and needs.
