About the workshop
Most people involved in business today negotiate across cultures, whether they do sales across borders, haggle terms for remote IT support with an overseas client or discuss next year’s promotions with a foreign boss over a video call. Culture is in everything: response speed, expected financial accuracy and acceptable ways to disagree vary from one culture to another. Cultures differ online as much as they do in person.
At this virtual workshop, intercultural leadership consultant Gabor Holch reveals three basic cultural traps for managers in the financial sector, and suggests practical ways to avoid them based on cases from his work with banks and CFOs in Europe and Asia, and one of the largest global associations of forensic accountants. This will be an interactive session where participants are welcome to initiate questions, comments and discussions on topics especially relevant to their daily work.
Benefits/Takeaways:
