About the webinar

Audit risks in the pandemic: valuation of assets and impairment considerations.

As many entities continue to assess the impact of COVID-19 and other global events when valuing their assets, auditing the fair value of assets has become more complex as auditors address management judgments and estimates with increased skepticism. This webinar will provide guidance around the auditing of the valuation of assets and related impairment considerations, and will include:

  • Evaluating management’s process for determining asset values
  • Auditing management’s estimates and judgments
  • Practical tips and examples
  • Consideration of the impact of conclusions reached on financial statement disclosures
